Room color affect your mood

Observing and staring at certain colors for a long period of time can affect a person's mood. Artists and interior designers have conducted many studies and have understood how different colors affect moods, feelings and emotions of a person.

Blue: Blue is a very pleasant color that causes the body to produce certain chemicals. Blue is the color of healing because the sight of it causes the body to produce calming chemicals. The color blue can curb an appetite.

Purple: Purple color is the symbol of royalty and found rarely in nature. It is associated highly with luxury as well as creativity and gives a scheme depth. Lighter shades of purple would bring a restful quality to bedrooms and your rest areas.

Yellow: Yellow highlights energy. But more darker shades of this color would make you feel tired and lethargic on the other hand. Yellow captures the joy of sunshine and conveys happiness. Thus it is perfect for coloring your kitchens, dining rooms and bathrooms.

Green: This is the color of balance and harmony. From a color psychology perspective, it is the great balancer of the heart and the emotions, creating equilibrium between the head and the heart.
