Eating right: Foods for working women

If you are a working woman you might be spending more than half of your day at work place. The nutritional requirements of women is different from that of a man. So eating well is very much important to keep health issues at bay.

According to a study conducted by WHO, nearly 1.62 billion people affected by anemia are women and young children. Women especially are more likely to suffer from the condition. So, in order to stay fit and manage all your responsibilities well, dear women, taking care of your health comes first. Here is what you should eat:

Spinach: Spinach is an excellent source of antioxidants, vitamins and dietary fibres which helps fight anemia. Some green leafy vegetables such as broccoli, spinach and lettuce, etc act as great antioxidants and are really good source of vitamin C that helps prevent fine lines.

Eggs: Eggs are the best source of proteins. Egg white is rich in riboflavin and vitamin B2 for proper cell functioning and bodily activities.

Nuts: They are encumbered with essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids and dietary fibres which are necessary for a healthy mind and body. Eating a handful of nuts every day can reduce the risk of heart diseases and cancer.

Water: Having ample amount of water is a must. It is advisable that you should consume at least 8 glasses of water on a daily basis.
