Turmeric, honey and milk:
Milk has got bleaching properties and turmeric
has got antiseptic properties. Honey
moisturizes the dry skin and also has antiseptic properties. All these have got some natural ingredients that will definitely help you keep away from black elbows and knees.
Sugar and olive oil:
The sugar present in this home remedy work as exfoliate and the olive oil will moisturize the skin. Mix equal quantities of olive oil and sugar to make a thick paste. Apply this mix on to the black knees and elbow. Rub the skin using this mixture for about five minutes. Wash using mild soap and water.
You can very well use an exfoliating brush in order to remove all the dead cells from the knee and elbow.
Aloe vera gel:
The sun damage caused to the skin due to the over exposure to the sun can be effectively treated by applying an aloe vera gel. This helps prevent darkness to an extent.
Using a sunscreen on a regular basis would help reduce the appearance of dark skin on the exposed areas.
Vinegar and Yoghurt:
Apply a mixture of vinegar and yoghurt on the affected areas and leave it to dry. When the mixture becomes dry rub the area in circular motion for two minutes and wash.
