Battle ropes
If you actually want to tone up your arms, shoulders and back, there can be no other workout that is better than battle rope. A very recent study that was published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research stated that swinging heavy ropes for about 10 minutes would burn about 112 calories.
High intensity interval training
This workout is for those who have a super busy schedule. Make sure that you focus on difficult movements that will challenge your entire body. Aim to include at least two exercises back to back before allowing your body to recover. But make sure to catch your breath in between your workouts.
Jumping ropes
You can practice this exercise anywhere and at any time. This exercise can be practiced for about 20 minutes, this would surely help you burn approximately 230 calories. If you have not practiced it till now, start with 10 minutes in the morning and evening to get accustomed to this workout.
Circuit training
If you wish to increase your stamina and burn excess calories, you must start with circuit training. Studies have shown that this workout helps burn about nine calories a minute.
