Applying face cream in less quantity would always help. Using more of it does not show much effect and makes your skin look oily and sticky. When the quantity is more, you take more time to rub the cream on your face as opposed to when you use less amount.

The best way of application is by applying small spots of cream all over your face and then smoothening it out. This way it would get spread to every bit of your skin cells, provided the cream should also worth it.
