There are nearly 2 billion lamp sockets on average per nation. As a part of energy conservation the governments all over the world promotes the usage of Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFL’s). It has proven to be more economical and energy efficient since its predecessor incandescent light.
Do CFL pose a danger to the world? Some countries have reported selling of CFL more than 320 million. What makes CFL a hazardous companion to our earth; in fact it contains a small amount of mercury—typically around five milligrams. Mercury is essential to a fluorescent bulbs ability to emit light; as effective as it is at enabling white light, no other element has proved as efficient. But on the other hand exposed mercury is highly vulnerable, especially harmful to the brains of both fetuses and children and for many other living organisms in our ecosystem. If we don’t take it seriously enough this green lights may turn as switches to a new calamity.

Increasing the intake of fish to a minimum of three to four weekly meals can boost good cholesterol levels which may provide protection against heart diseases, a new study has found.
People who increased their intake of fatty fish had more large High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) particles in their blood than those who were less frequent eaters of fish, said researchers at the University of Eastern Finland.
The study observed that a higher intake of fish increased the number of large HDL particles and lipids contained in them. Population-based studies have shown that HDL cholesterol - also known as good cholesterol - and large HDL particles are efficient in sweeping extra cholesterol off artery walls.
Large HDL particles have been associated with reduced risk of cardiovascular diseases, whereas small HDL particles may even have opposite effects. Positive changes in lipid metabolism were observed in persons who increased their intake of fish most, ie in persons who ate at least three to four fish meals per week.

Out of nothing, the creator made rocks, water, fire and wind.
From these four substances he created the physical world of sun, stars, moon and earth. Then he made the plant beings.
Every answer we look for, every solution we are in dire need of, every healing that we have always longed for, they were all right in front of us, soulfully green, bright, tender and beautiful.
Plants, they are for sure, the ever forgiving, ever giving, living proof that we all can co-exist and be important to each other, without any exception.
So let us never again ignore and look away the true gift of mother earth.
